Careers at JLS Landscape & Sprinkler
Join a company that has been serving Colorado for over 50 years. JLS offers year-round employment, professional development, and the chance to work on some of Denver's most recognized properties.
Year-Round Employment, Real Growth
Unlike most landscape companies that lay off workers every winter, JLS employs our crew members year-round. In spring and summer, you maintain commercial landscapes. In fall and winter, you operate snow removal equipment. This means stable, predictable income in every season and the opportunity to develop skills across multiple disciplines.
JLS has been in business since 1975, and many of our team members have been with us for years. We invest in our people through certifications, training, and hands-on mentorship. Our core values of Passion, Excellence, Integrity, Accountability, and Growth guide how we hire, train, and promote from within.
- Year-round employment (landscape + snow operations)
- Professional development and certification support
- Opportunity to work on high-profile properties like Coors Field
- Community service involvement (Mt. Saint Vincent Home and 9 other organizations)
- Growth path from Crew Member to Crew Lead and beyond
- Stable company with 50+ years of continuous operation

What We Look For
At JLS, character matters as much as skills. We can teach you how to operate equipment. We cannot teach you how to show up on time, take ownership of your work, and treat people with respect.
Reliability
Show up on time, every day, ready to work. Our clients depend on us, and we depend on each other.
Work Ethic
Landscape and snow work is physically demanding. We need people who take pride in doing the job right, not just getting it done.
Teamwork
Every project is a team effort. We look for people who communicate well, support their crew, and put the team's success first.
Growth Mindset
We promote from within and invest in training. The best candidates are eager to learn new skills and take on more responsibility over time.
