About JLS Landscape & Sprinkler
Since 1975, JLS Landscape & Sprinkler has been the trusted partner for commercial landscape maintenance and snow removal across Denver Metro and Douglas County. Our mission is simple: People, Service, Quality, Continuous Improvement.
50+ Years of Colorado Landscape Excellence
JLS began as a small irrigation company in 1975 and has grown into one of the Denver Metro area's most respected full-service landscape and snow management firms.
Founded as an Irrigation Company
JLS Landscape & Sprinkler was founded in Sedalia, Colorado, specializing in sprinkler system installation and repair for residential and commercial properties across the Denver Metro area. From day one, the company built its reputation on technical expertise and reliable service.
Expanded into Full-Service Landscaping
As demand grew, JLS expanded beyond irrigation into comprehensive landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, and seasonal grounds care. The company developed long-term relationships with commercial property managers, HOAs, and metro districts throughout Douglas County and the greater Denver area.
Transitioned to Exclusively Commercial
JLS made the strategic decision to phase out residential services and focus exclusively on commercial accounts. This shift allowed the company to invest in heavy equipment, specialized training, and the operational infrastructure needed to serve large-scale properties with consistent, professional-grade results.
Built a Snow Removal Powerhouse
JLS grew its snow and ice management division into the primary revenue driver, accounting for 60% of annual revenue. The company assembled a fleet of wheel loaders, skid steers, pickup plows, and de-icing equipment. Staff earned CSP (Certified Snow Professional) credentials, and the team was featured on the cover of SNOW BUSINESS magazine for their industry-leading operations.
Innovation & Residential Expansion
JLS invested in 10 Scythe Robotics autonomous mowing units, becoming one of the first landscape companies in Colorado to adopt robotic mowing technology. The company also began expanding back into residential services in Douglas County, bringing 50+ years of commercial-grade expertise to homeowners in Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Parker, and surrounding communities.

Innovation & Sustainability
JLS is investing in the future of landscape management through autonomous mowing technology and water conservation practices. We have reserved 10 Scythe Robotics autonomous mowing units, making us one of the first companies in Colorado to deploy robotic mowers on commercial properties. These units reduce emissions, minimize noise, and deliver a more precise, consistent cut.
Our sustainability efforts extend to irrigation. JLS has saved hundreds of thousands of gallons of water through smart controller installations, weather-based scheduling, drip conversion, and drought-tolerant plant selections. Our LEED AP-accredited team members bring green building expertise to every project, helping commercial property managers meet environmental targets while maintaining attractive, functional landscapes.
